Here are a few additional secret messages left out of the chapter on the Coen Brothers' film, The Big Lebowski.
When we first meet The Dude, the scene ends with him left sitting on the toilet, for as a personification of the Holy Dalai Lama, he is "sitting on his throne."
When Lebowski slips into a hallucination after being drugged by Jackie Treehorn, we are shown an animation of two bowling balls and a bowling pin which exhibit a sex act that cannot lead to fertility, an image that furthers the film's theme of fertility and the life cycle.
The lyrics of the music that plays during the movie's closing credits tells of a funeral followed by a wedding, further underscoring the lifecycle theme, as the wedding hints at a future child birth after the funeral.
